In our case, the meter data is transmitted to a tower - similar to a cell tower. That tower is linked back to the power company. All data is digitized and encrypted. Nobody is going to steal any info from you or about you.

My father had a form of adult onset Muscular Distrophy. The Muscular Distropy Association didn't do a *damned* thing for him. Nothing. Screw them.

Getting out of the consumer PC business? They should get out of the enterprise PC business as well. We have a whole room full of them, and they're junk! Wish I had my old Dell back.

It's not just at the consumer level. We (a large business, who will remain nameless) lease hundreds of circuits from AT&T to support our business locations.

While I don't deny that the thugs deserved to get mauled (Look! Soft, with a crunchy center!) the enclosure should have been designed in such a manner that this never could have happened, no matter what.

These cars are head and shoulders above their 1960s-70s predecessors. I get 23 real MPG with my Challenger R/T in mixed driving without even trying. People who are serious about it get mid-upper 20s. That's not bad at all.
